From Spain: Diego Costa has already signed with Chelsea on a 5 year deal

Spanish newspaper Sport are claiming that Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa has already signed a deal to become a Chelsea player. Sport reckon that contacts during the Champions League matches between the two clubs saw the deal finalised.
Costa, happy with the terms offered by Chelsea, is stated as having signed a five year deal. This is similar to reports in England and previous claims in Spain. On April 13th the same Spanish newspaper said that a preliminary agreement had been reached and was set to be completed.
The deal has been 'done' several times if every report is correct, but then so was a Chelsea 'deal' for Radamel Falcao judging by the same standards. The difference this time is that Chelsea's desire for a top class striker couldn't be more public and Jose Mourinho has told the world that's what he wants.
The Champions League final, which Costa's Atletico will hope to win, is on Saturday May 24th in Lisbon. Spain's World Cup squad meet up on Monday May 26th ahead of a friendly on May 30th. Chelsea and Costa would no doubt hope to publicly complete the deal around that time-frame, otherwise it will have to wait until after the World Cup.
