The Mysterious Area 51

Even denied of existence, Area 51 remains the most popular and mysterious air base of US. There are rumors about Alien spacecrafts being reverse engineered and implemented in US air-crafts. People have seen unidentified flying objects near the place, and most people’s description of the UFOs are very similar. What is area 51? Where is it? Why is it so heavily guarded?

Area 51 (also known as Dreamland, or Groom Lake) is a remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base. It is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a large military airfield. The base’s current primary purpose is officially undetermined.

Though the presence of area 51 is denied, satellite photos of the place reveal many things about it. According to satellite footage, area 51 has world’s longest runway. Was it made to test top secret spy planes? Many people have seen UFOs around the place. Can it be the strange secret planes making it look like UFO? If it’s so secret how come its so popular?

A person called Bob Lazar, worked at Area 51, says he was hired by Navy to do reverse engineering on Alien space-crafts. He also mentioned that there were 9 alien space-crafts all powered by the same source. Though there is no evidence of whatever Bob Lazar said, this quickly caught media and public’s attention. Soon enough the areas of Nevada Desert near to Area 51 became unofficial meeting point for UFO watchers.

The place is so hidden that it was only visible from nearby mountains, but soon government declared the mountains to be off limits. There are helicopters patrolling the area. All sorts of security cameras and sensors ensure that nobody enters the place. If you try to go too close, you’ll find signs that Lethal weapons can be used if you go beyond the limit. Why is the place so heavily guarded?

All those rumors and Bob’s statement about reverse engineering of Alien spacecrafts, Can it be true? Or is it just what they want us to believe?

Some even say that this is the place where Apollo missions were faked!

There is no evidence that can give us the truth. Till date, the truth remains far from being close.
